Hi there
I have a Rover 220SD P-reg had it for about 8 months now and I want to get a bit more acceleration out of it.
I have been looking at carrying out the intercooler conversion and am currently looking for a 220SDi Intercooler but had no luck. I am wondering if the 420 intercooler will fit if not will a Rover 25 2.0TDi?
I am aware that the throttle cable will need to be adjusted but are there any other things I should check before and after installing?

Installing Intercooler to Rover 220SD
Re: Installing Intercooler to Rover 220SD
The intercooler is different and the pipe routing is also different too from 400 to 200.
To do the conversion you'll need:
200 intercooler
intercooled inlet manifold and alloy intake pipe
Metal pipe that runs over the top of the engine plus the little silicone hose joiner
Boost pipes
A bit of flat metal to make a new throttle cable bracked out of.
I think thats about it..
However remember you can make it a lot quicker by merely tweaking the fuel pump.
