Hey,
Have maybe somebody a video or pictures how to get the job done with this max.fuel screw on the non-intercooled pump
I've got no idea how to do that, couldnt find the damned screw on the pump
Increasing fuel on the pump
Re: Increasing fuel on the pump
On the next car I tune I'll try and get some pictures, or maybe even a video. Actually the sight of me on a video might scare people off!
Not too hard to do, but harder to do well if you see what I mean.

Re: Increasing fuel on the pump
Oops I stole them anyway.
I've annotated them and added them to the original tuning article

I hope it is of use and you don't mind me using the pics. If you do then I'll take them down.

Re: Increasing fuel on the pump
I wanted to ask if it's possible to adjust the fuelling without a drive test
What i have in mind is just to remove the front wheels and put the car axle-stand and then test ist on differnt rev ranges. A second person outside could scream when it smokes to much
what you think good or bad idea

Re: Increasing fuel on the pump
I'm afraid the only way you can accurately do it is with a test drive or on a rolling road. With the wheels off of the floor you'll find that the engine isn't put under load, and so won't provide as much boost and therefor add less fuel.
If you have a boost gauge and rev the engine in neutral you'll struggle to hit full boost, whereas on the road it is a lot easier to reach max boost when the engine is under load.

Re: Increasing fuel on the pump
Thx Ok then I'll have to find a nice playground for my Rover
Yes I already have a boost gauge fitted .
Does also the increase of fuel change my mpg dramatically or just a little bit, like driving with aircon on
