intercooler
hi all, bin a while, the 600 has gone and i've now got a 220D, i'm looking at fitting a intercooler to it but need to know if its an easy or hard job?? can't be that hard! can it?

Re: intercooler
Not too bad a job.
Raid a scrapyard for the bits you need from an intercooled model
Intercooler
Hoses
Metal pipe over the engine
Inlet manifold
You'll also need to make up a little bracket to move the throttle cable a little (otherwise it'll foul the intercooler hose). I tend to make a bracket to move it forward and down a little and attach it to the original bracket.
