adjusting boost MG ZT-T

Post by paulr600sdi »

Do the same differences apply if i wanted more boost ( on my zt ) as it does when shortening the actuator arm on the older l-series engine? If so would I be looking at the pushing for the same psi ( 19 ) or is it a completely different story?
If i'm not back in five minutes...... Just wait longer!

So long as there isn't a boost control valve used (and I don't think there is), then yes shortening the actuator will increase the boost level.

I have to say I've no idea on what boost level the BMW engine can take though (The original turbo is very small from memory).
