Adding a strut brace stiffens up the suspsension geometry by preventing various parts of the suspension flexing when under load. The generally recommended ones are a front top brace for the 200/25 and 400/45. The 400/45 also benefits from a lower rear brace, and then next on the list would be rear upper braces for all models.
